Buddy, Pal, Homie, Sweetie, Love, Babe, Baby, Friend?
Howdy,
So, I know I missed you greatly yesterday, So I left you an extra down there--> and moving on..I have something to say, (I know I always do) But I really feel as tho this is important.
Friends, Such a small word with a huge meaning. These day's it seems to be getting harder and harder to find a good friend. Everyone's all about themselves, My things, My own Identity, My Ipod, My cell phone, My LIFE. It seems like people are starting to believe its all about them. Just going through life dodging others as tho they were the plague.
But Sometimes, there's people in your life that you can't thank enough. Every little thing is etched into your memory, some things more than others. And either way, they've changed your life. They've shaped you. They've given you the strength to be stronger, to be bolder, to be yourself. The smiles have outweighed the tears you've shed on their shoulders and the laughter has been louder than the anger you've experienced. It's because of the people you surround yourself with that you ended up learning to love, laugh, like and live happily with. These people, We call them our friends. But, its such a small word that describes this huge thing.
I personally, Only have a few people that I call my friend. You know, The ones who I can talk to all the time anytime but also sit in a comfortable silence. Or that someone I tell my dreams to because I know that no matter how ridiculous they sound she'll listen and she won't laugh at me. The ones I can tell my secrets too and I know they won't tell. Who can tolerate the same kind of gossip and nothing more. They don't care how I dress but always compliment me when I look good. We can't stand the same kind of people and like the same kind of books. The ones that go, "Hey, how are you?" and mean it. We spend boring evenings watching movies. They know what my favorite color and cereal is.
The little things that a stranger could careless about. That kind of thing. The people that actually CARE.
THANK YOU. Thank you for caring and being my friend.
And it's getting late. SO I think I'll hit the hay.

Sometimes...When we think we are keeping a secret, It's actually keeping us.
Howdy,
I was reading last night I couldn't sleep at like 3 in the morning. Damn it. Although, I'm kinda glad that I was reading. Because I stumbled across this short passage in my book. And I read it at least 4 times, you wanna know what it is don't you? Alright, Here it is:
"..I think that's just how some people are, they outgrow the names their mother gave them, they grow into something different, someone different from what anyone could have expected of them..Taking a new name is like being born all over again, into who they should have been all along..."
What do you think? I thought it was funny. Really, Ever feel like your name doesn't do you justice? Then again I've thought that maybe you have to grow into your name. You have to adjust, maybe the world has to adjust, maybe that nickname grows old and your real name suits you better after a few years, days, or months. You know what I mean? Or perhaps its backwards, for instance, Your real name doesn't rise up to your expectations. As tho it's not describing you correctly. Maybe it lacks the spark you think that you need to make it. Or maybe it is just right and you can't see it just yet.
