Lookin' at the promise of the promise land....

Howdy,
So, just the other day at work I was thinking.
What will half of these people do when they grow up? Who ends up changing the world and who ends up in jail? How can you tell who will follow their dreams? Who will lead the country? Who will destroy it?
The reason I was thinking this was because we had a million little kids, okay more like 175, but it seemed like a lot more, come through the theater. Oh, I work at a movie theater By the way.
And I don't know if you've done this, but looked in the face of a little kid and it was almost like you could see the person that they were to become. Having so many little faces and knowing that the future is theirs. I had to wonder how they would take it. Would they let it pass them by? Would they make a difference?
I know, I think too much. But these are the thoughts that go through my head. And when you have nothing else to do at work it's very easy to get lost in your own thoughts. So, the next time you see an annoying little kid...Look a little harder and see that this kid could be the next President of the United States, or the next Bill Gates, maybe even the next, Joe Montana. Who knows.

A day in the life of Jak...

I got this Idea from a friend of mine and I thought that I would share it with you...It's a day in the life of Jak. Me, of course.

The date is 02/21/07, *Times change depending on date and day.
5:30 a.m.-
Body alarm goes off and I have to pee.
7:00 a.m.-
Body alarm goes off again and I have to shower but I lay in bed.
8:15 a.m.-
Cell phone goes off with the first txt message of the day. I lay there a little longer then decide to get up.
9:00 a.m.-
Go and let out neighbors dogs.
9:15 a.m.-
Come back home and shower.
10:00 a.m.-
Pick up my room.
10:30 a.m.-
Get starbucks.
11:00 a.m.-
Find a way to get on the internet.
11:23 a.m.-
Continue writing my blogs....

And thats where I have left off for today...I have work at 1 so, I will be here to finish this up later this evening.

What a beautiful, stunning, thoughtful...Okay, Just What a night. A night to remember? No. An eventful night? No. But, I just have this feeling of..What a night. Is it just me again or is there times when you just feel that for a split second, Just a second, that everything in the world is OK. Not great. Not perfect. Just, OK.

Ah, Enough of that. I bought myself M&M's today. A bag of ALL green ones.And, I wasn't going to write tonight on account of the lack of words. So, I will go to bed and think up a good topic for tomorrow yeah? and give you the best writing I can give you. =] Deal?

Because tomorrows yesterday was just an imagination....

Take a walk with me....
Down a road where everything went as planned. The sun is setting on a warm summer evening, the road is bumpy, but it is a dirt road [[What do you expect?]]. Time period? 2017. There is no one around for miles. The sky is bright blue mixed with clouds of orange and pink. Now what? Where do you go? What are you thinking? Has everything turned out how you wanted it to? Has it turned out how you thought it would? Is your life fullfilled?
Did Destiny find you, and did Karma take it easy on you? How's life treating you?
Now, let's take it back 10 years.
Let's take a walk....
Down a road where its nicely paved. The sun is setting, but we can barely see it over the buildings and homes. The year? 2007. And everyone is inside on myspace, so pretty much no one is around. And the sky is kind of clear but the smog and clouds are mixed. What are you feeling now? How are things going? Is life going as planned? Are the times changing like you thought they would? Are you everything you know that you can be? Are you going to be ready for those next 10 years?
As each day goes on, I find things that change. Music, Clothes, Cars, People, Buildings, and eveything that you can imagine. I look back at when I was 10. That was 6 years ago. And I have to tell you. Nothing is the same. Not even the way I dress. So, All I can think about is, What will it be like in 10 years. When I am 26 and life is really in the fast lane. What shows will I be watching? Shoes I'll be wearing? And where will I be?
Ever think about that?
I'll leave you to do so. I have to get going.
